Squid Game has been compared to Mario Party, with players competing to survive different mini-games though, luckily, the Nintendo series does not have fatal consequences for losers. The series has found great success since its launch on September 17, and many viewers now strive to recreate the experience safely through video games. While a massive cash reward is offered, each game also has deadly consequences for those unable to complete its challenge. Netflix's newest original smash hit, Squid Game, sees financially struggling citizens invited to participate in a mysterious series of games - seemingly innocent games - that turn out to be lethal. While the popular title is no stranger to third-party software and mods, many GTA Online mods have been shut down over the past year due to an abundance of cheaters plaguing the title. Rockstar Games' open-world multiplayer title launched in 2013, while Netflix's South Korean survival drama just recently aired on the streaming platform.
